UniComp aims to automate the retail UniVerse. The company offers hardware and software for the retail market, including wireless kiosks, as well as customer-activated devices for reading bar codes, interactive graphics display devices, point of sale terminals, transaction management services, and electronic payment products. UniComp had provided a wider variety of products and services, including human resources management applications and Web site design and hosting services, but has streamlined its operations to focus on its retail products. Customers include Target, Estee Lauder, and Dollar Tree Stores.
