SEO Team is Supportive but Limited
5 Apr 2023 - Sr. SEO Analyst in Atlanta, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Lots of resources with other colleagues, and access to just about every SEO tool. There are experts in most tools available for help. Accounts/clients are also bigger, which takes some of the pressure off individuals.
Cons
You have to craft all of your own learning, which can make it difficult to make steady progress. Projects are also becoming more and more standardized, which has very mixed results.

Where do I start? Burnout culture no training meetings 8-5pm and then expected to work toxic people in senior leadership VP and up work remotely and all I received was a laptop not even a notebook or a pencil expected to work and understand everything week 1 lack of historical information on accounts Base pay is okay but do not offer any stipend for the fact that we have to pay for our own electricity and internet. Don’t apply here unless you want constant anxiety and feeling inadequate

Smart people and cool clients but not many opportunities
8 Nov 2021 - Media Manager in New York, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- You get to work with some of the smartest and kindest people in the industry - Company promotes work life balance by offering multiple holidays, and “me-time” on Fridays. -Had the opportunity to work on some really cool and innovative projects on different accounts.
Cons
-Incredibly low pay. To the point where it’s actually unbelievable. Definitely lower than other agencies. -Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience with my last manager. She was extremely condescending and disrespectful to the point where it was useless to even have a conversation with her because she would just talk to you as if you were a child. Super disappointing. -If you’re a part of the media teams (supervisor and below), you will spend basically all of your time billing and going back and forth with the finance team. Be ready to spend countless hours carrying out repetitive, clerical tasks. -Teams are ALWAYS understaffed and management puts little to no effort in filling these vacancies so be ready to do the work of 6 people.
