Pros

-The mutual detest of the management team brings the staff together

Cons

- CEO - rude -Management - unable to cope, out of touch, see people as purely resources - You will be part of a company who's quest for profit is hugely at the expense of the end NHS service users - Constantly hearing patient/customer terrible feedback, the company cuts corners in order to profit .. This affects real peoples lives - Rude managers/head of operations - Personal comments, bullying -Poor pay - they will say it is temporary - the performance reviews do not happen - Massive staff turnover - always changing

Pros

You might find yourself at a centre where there are decent people who haven't lost their soul.

Cons

This a family owned business. The favouritism is rife starting from high level management and seems to be systemic at clinical centre level too. Clinicians are expected to work very hard and use ortho Europe central fabrication and products. If you use another supplier you are asked to justify your clinical reasoning by an ADMINISTRATOR who has no clinical knowledge so has no place to question the judgement of someone who is specially trained in making these decisions. I had the unfortunate experience of watching members of staff being fired and this disguised as redundancies clearly to avoid tribunals. This stemmed from opcare trying to keep the NHS contractors happy and they succumbed to bullying in order to keep a contract. If you are happy to become a management suck up you'll get all the additional training and support you want. If you are unwilling to do this, find someone else to work for.

Pros

The team i directly worked with were friendly and supportive

Cons

As a member of staff I felt completely undervalued. Management style was old school, aggressive and uncollaborative.
