The owner of this company does not value his employees. Here are some examples. When I started, the chair in my office was broken. After asking for a new chair three different times, I bought my own and brought it to the office. Allied is a service and rental company, but when the trailers need service, the tech guys have to use their personal vehicles because the owner does not want to buy a service truck. Employees have to use their personal cell phones for business. The owner refuses to upgrade computer sales software to make the branch more profitable, yet complains when sales do not increase. When I started, the service technicians did not have a workshop, they were forced to work in the sun and rain. So I had the guys use junk shipping containers to build an A-Frame type structure so they would have a dry place to work when it rains. Allied has company health insurance, but it is so expensive, no one at the branch uses it. In fact, I obtained better coverage at a lower cost on a personal health insurance plan. These are just a few specific reasons that illustrate that the owner of Allied does not value his employees.
