Pros

It's hard to come up with any. They had decent hotel discounts, that is the only positive. I am truly hard pressed to come up with anything else.

Cons

This was the worst job environment that I have ever been in and I regret that I took the job, there were definitely red flags that I ignored. It is the most unprofessional environment. I witnessed the owner verbally harass other employees and I experienced the harassment myself during meetings. He would scream at people in front of their peers, it was humiliating and awful to witness. Bill collectors would call throughout the day and be passed from one person to the next to eventually be hung up on. I would work on projects and then have them changed at the last minute, nothing ever flows as planned from start to finish, it is chaos. I was promised promotions that would happen down the road and they were never even in the works. If you are ever told that you will get a big raise once they become a REIT, don't fall for it. There is no way that will ever happen, just another lie they tell. They hired a lot of criminals and then shared the backgrounds to all of us in meetings. They did it to exploit people who had no where else to turn for work. It was not a gesture out of goodwill, it was because they could give convicts 0 raise and work them 70 hours a week and they'd still stay because they had no where else. They regularly talked about former employees and would laugh about the reasons they got fired or why they were bad. There is no confidentiality. They base their decisions off of emotions and they will tell outright lies. Gossip is rampant and even if you try to stay out of it, you will be impacted. The owner and his tightest circle are driven by drama and gossip. They don't comply with labor laws and they have had all of the ADA rooms removed from hotels. There is truly no regard for doing the right thing, all energy is spent on how to get around regulations. I can't give a strong enough warning to stay away from this company, as an employee or through business dealings. If you have a skill set, take it somewhere else, you will regret the decision to join Anant within 6 months at the very most.

Pros

The pay is decent, but it isn’t worth selling your soul to them.

Cons

-Micromanagement (even high performers) -Behaviors that seemed to be psychologically unsafe (possible bullying, they seem to intimidate and manipulate employees, culture of fear and firing, public humiliation of employees by some members of the executive team, seem to talk down/belittle employees, autocratic leadership style, they don’t seem to want to hear or care for your opinion and seem to expect you to tow the line) -Questionably unethical behaviors that seem to exploit loopholes for their benefit -Witnessed management/executives talk poorly about former employees out in the open (unprofessional) -They often place blame on you and it feels like gaslighting behaviors -There’s no shortage of employees that leave this place traumatized and can’t even talk about it because they don’t want to revisit the memories. In short, I really can’t even describe in words how bad it is. I would never reduce myself to working here again, no matter how dire the circumstances. It’s hard to take anything away from the experience, except regret. I hope this review helps others as I wish there were some like this before I accepted an offer. Make sure to do your research. Reach out to former employees on LinkedIn. I'm sure many will echo these sentiments.
