Pros
Excellent leadership, great technology, intelligent and friendly colleagues and wonderful culture
Cons
none, nothing bad here, period
Pros
Nice culture Good teammates Flexible Hours Helping Colleagues Seamless/ Frictionless Onboarding . Nice Campus Hybrid
Cons
None as of now, everything is smooth
Pros
Great group of dynamic individuals. Very cooperative colleagues always extending hand to new hires despite their busy schedules. You can sense a good employee moral from first couple of days.
Cons
Not sure if its a con but there are no cubes. Open work environment.
Pros
Some colleagues were truly great to work with, and there is valuable experience.
Cons
Unfortunately, the overall culture is very political. Leadership often seemed disconnected from employees, and decisions felt more about “who you knew” rather than merit. While certain individuals received opportunities and support, the broader workforce didn’t feel valued or supported. The experience can look good on paper, but the cost to morale and well-being is significant. Don't forget the lack of overall career growth. They will lie and say there is career growth, just be aware.
Pros
I have been working at AppZen for over 3 years, and it's been a fantastic experience overall. The company has an amazing culture, with friendly and supportive colleagues who make every day enjoyable. My teammates, in particular, are incredible, and we work together like a well-oiled machine. The camaraderie we share has been one of the highlights of my time here. The work-life balance is good, with manageable workloads that allow you to perform well without feeling overwhelmed. While the salary is okay, the location and office ambiance are top-notch, making it a pleasant place to spend your workdays. If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to have more cross-team learning opportunities. Overall, AppZen is a great place to grow your career. You are surrounded by a fantastic team and in an environment that fosters professional and personal development.
Cons
None that come at the top of my mind.
Pros
Great colleagues. Cool tech. Good space.
Cons
Leadership. More like lack of it.
Pros
You get to work with innovative minds in the field of AI. Even junior data scientists get to work on really cutting edge problems. As a start up there is always urgency to deliver new features and products on time. But folks have fun while working hard. The CTO strives for the best AI innovations and has a very keen insight into market as well. There are plenty of snacks and company lunch once a week. HR department makes it fun place to work through many games and online activities.. especially during covid. And we got 3 extra long weekends! Who does not love long weekends 😂 Work life balance is great. People are encouraged to take vacations. The CEO has led the company very well and has very transparent in communication top down. The CS team rocks! And other leaders in the company are very approachable. Colleagues are kind and caring. Work life balance is great. People are encouraged to take vacations.
Cons
Company is still learning and growing through innovations, new product launches. Which is a good thing but also requires employees to adapt which can be uncomfortable for some.
Pros
Solid tech • Industry leader in expense audit. (Gaining momentum in account payable) • Amazing client roster • Fun culture • Friendly colleagues • Sales Leaders/CXO are always willing to jump in and help AEs progress and/or close a deal.
Cons
Depending on your style, this may or may not be a con. AppZen is very fast-paced and demands a lot from its AEs. All AEs have customer accounts to farm from but must hunt for new logos in their patch. Heavy prospecting but we do have a ton of software; 6Sense, ZoomInfo, Chorus, SalesNavigator, etc… to help. If you are a hunter kind of Salesperson with a structured process and grit, you’ll do well here. If you are not, AppZen is not the right place. Metric driven culture and monitored closely. Pipe-gen, pipeline, opportunities, opportunity stages, MEDDICC, SFDC hygiene, forecasting, etc.... Not much for Marketing leads. There is a one-to-one alignment between AE and SDR/BDR, which helps balance things and provides support.
Pros
I joined this organization when it was still at a very early stage, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to grow along with the company. The environment has been fast-paced, challenging, and full of learning. One of the best aspects of working here has been the exposure to highly talented and competitive individuals. The teams are driven, collaborative, and technically strong, which makes it a great place for continuous improvement. The company provides opportunities to work on a wide range of projects and engineering initiatives using modern and cutting-edge technologies. Over time, I was able to take on increasing responsibilities, contribute across multiple projects, and support the development of new internal capabilities. The journey has been rewarding, especially for those who enjoy ownership, learning, and working in dynamic environments. Strong learning and growth opportunities Talented and motivated colleagues Exposure to modern tech stack and complex projects Supportive culture in building new capabilities Supportive leadership
Cons
Fast growth can sometimes mean processes are still evolving Work can be demanding during high-priority deliverables
