If you are trying to become a supervisor or advance at all ASU will always put more responsibilities on us minimum wage workers rather than properly staff their pro-staff positions

Low pay, unsupportive leadership, not many opportunities to move up within the org

High workload during peak weeks, uneven student preparation, limited TA staffing, tight grading timelines

Unfortunately, this job wore me to the ground. It ran like a call center. Everyday the focus was making a certain number of calls and talking a certain number of minutes to students. While the goal was to deliver good service to the students, it was the quantity that seemed to matter more than the quality. Every minute of your work is tracked. Everything feels micromanaged. After a while it started to feel a bit demeaning.
