Senior leaders (Directors, VP, CEO) are simply not qualified to lead a business. They don’t have the vision nor leadership skills to get the job done. This leaves managers and associates to try to pick the pieces and get product out the door. Also, this company is fire-happy. The go-to when someone is underperforming or struggling is to fire that person. Not much effort is put into coaching employees or helping them break through obstacles.

Biofilm has been in business since 1991, and although every year a new challenge has been presented, our leadership team has demonstrated their qualifications as we reach our company goals and initiatives annually. Our goal at Biofilm is to have the right employee in the right seat doing a job they enjoy and thrive in. Using each employees’ skills and abilities to help move the organization to the next level. When we discover a need or training gap for our senior leaders or any of our employees, we work on ways to obtain the knowledge and close the gap. Continuous improvement is what Biofilm strives for daily. This includes developing our current employees.

Seemed like a cool place to work until it really was not

The owner is the kindest person you will ever meet. 4 day work weeks.

Cons

Management doesn’t want departments interacting. If you do you will be fired unless you pledge your commitment to them. They welcome questions but when you ask something they jump to conclusions and use it against you. 4/10 days however it is actually 4/9.5 days which adds up. Workflows are extremely outdated and redundant.
