Pros

• Used to be a great company • Some talented team members • Interesting clients

Cons

• Witnessed racist, homophobic, and sexist comments that went unchallenged. Comments came from exec members and general team members. • Don’t care about the mental health of staff, exec have been openly heard saying on company calls “but how much should we really care”. • They manage people out of the business if they don’t fit their mould - diversity and inclusion doesn’t exist. • People are pressured to work outside their hours on a regular basis - this is labelled as being a team player and is expected. • The new CEO (Mark Adams) hired in a load of his mates and promoted them to the executive leadership team within a matter of months. • There is no development plan for staff to grow in their careers. They would rather replace 1 senior and experienced person with 2 juniors or work experience staff that they can “mould” and pay minimum wage. • Once you hand in your notice you are blanked by the entire exec team, no matter how many years you have worked for the company, even if you leave on amicable terms. Very petty, unprofessional and childish. • During the BLM protests the CFO sent the whole company an email stating that Attraqt didn’t feel comfortable saying it was anti-racist. • Products are often sold that haven’t been developed or tested. • The company direction changes all the time without warning and never seems well considered or planned. • The product has fallen far behind competition, there are newer and better solutions on the market. • Old fashioned and toxic culture. • CEO periodically holds individual team calls for people to ask him questions but everybody MUST ask him something - so you have to make something up even if you don’t want to. You have to provide your questions ahead of time so that he can script a response before the call. You’re not allowed to ask questions on the call and it’s basically an hour for him to talk at you, choose the questions he wants to read out and read his prepared answers.

Pros

I met some nice people

Cons

- The exec team is completely incompetent - you can tell it’s the CEO’s first attempt at leading in any meaningful way and he is failing miserably. - Any feedback given is not confidential but rather discussed amongst the exec team like gossiping teenagers and their responses are just as childish. - Personally heard members of the exec team being racist, sexist and discriminatory towards employees which was swept under the rug when reported. - The CEO has hired all of his friends to fill positions in his exec team - and most of them are just as incompetent as he is. - So many employees are struggling with mental health problems - stress, burnout, anxiety - because of the lack of resource and expectations from management. There is also little to no support for these employees, they threw an employee assistance programme at it and considered it solved. - The direction of the company changes at every weekly exec meeting so you rarely get the opportunity to finish anything you start.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, we are very sorry to hear you feel negatively about your time with us. Please be assured that we take every comment seriously to make internal changes to improve. Every employee leaving Attraqt is offered an exit interview and we ask for constructive feedback to ensure we can make necessary improvements to the business. The comments in this review do not mirror any of the exit interview feedback we have received, nor do they mirror the quarterly Employee Engagement surveys we have conducted for the last year. At our last employee survey, we scored highly on “People from all backgrounds are treated fairly at Attraqt” and also “If I experienced serious misconduct at work, I’m confident Attraqt would take action to rectify the situation”. We’re proud of the diversity in our workforce and strongly condemn any form of discrimination. We continue to focus on promoting a feedback culture through the employee surveys, and are continuously working to improve our D&I strategy, management and individual training, wellbeing initiatives, development plans and product roadmap, however employee feedback is vital to ensure that we get this just right. Our company strategy has not changed in the last 18 months, and the management team and CEO continue to focus on driving this message through regular internal company communications and presentations. We are supportive of all of our employees who refer colleagues from previous companies to Attraqt as we strive to hire the best talent for the business. We have strong and inclusive recruitment processes that allow us to recruit fairly and without bias. We would like to thank you for your contribution whilst at Attraqt and we wish you all the very best for the future in the next role you go onto. Thank you.

Worst company I’ve ever worked for

Pros

- Interesting industry sector - Cool tech, although there are better on the market - Nice coworkers - Great clientele list

Cons

- The role and company were nothing like what I was sold in the interview - Staff is overworked, under-appreciated and underpaid for what they are expected to deliver. The workload is overwhelming and people work outside of their hours on a regular basis to complete projects. Expect to work evenings and weekends. - Attraqt doesn’t care about the well-being and mental health of their staff. People report burning out to their managers and even openly state it in team meetings and it goes unaddressed. - Management is old-school and a boys club. Diversity and inclusion are not valued or a priority and there are HUGE salary discrepancies between male and female staff. - There is some major nepotism going on. Senior execs hire their mates and promote them, even though some of them are completely unqualified for the roles they are offered. It’s all about who you know. Some staff even got hired without having to go through a proper interview process. - There are lots of office politics and the company is very gossipy. The way some people speak about their colleagues and team members is absolutely disgusting. - Managers take credit for their team members’ work on a regular basis. There’s also a lot of finger-pointing going on to pass blame. - Outdated technology slows down the day to day and prevents efficiency. Their information sharing and collaboration tools are awful. - They call themselves a “growth company” but have such a high staff turnover that they are losing staff at the same rate they are hiring. - There are a few extremely knowledgeable and passionate people pleading with the senior exec team to implement changes to make the company better, but they refuse to listen. - Attraqt has no interest in addressing any underlying issues. Instead, the company just puts bandaids on problems in an attempt to save face. For instance, by putting up inflated Glassdoor reviews written by the leadership team, to counteract negative staff ones. - Not surprisingly, talented, dedicated and passionate employees have been leaving the company in swarms … some without another job lined up. That says it all!

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. It’s very disappointing to read your comments and we’re genuinely sorry that you feel this way about us. Perceptions can of course vary but employees who leave have an exit interview and we carry out regular staff surveys – the comments in this review are not reflective of the data from either of these employee touch points. We hope you secure alternative employment that you find more fulfilling.
