Pros

They built a great office space with new location

Cons

*ABSOLUTELY NO work/life balance, on call until late hours *OPS commission setup is a joke, splitting a pot between co-workers where work effort doesn't reflect commission amount is very detrimental to workplace cohesion. You can ship 400 shipments in a month, and the colleague next to you doing 100 movements makes same commission. *If you're not on the OPS side, not LTL, prepare to be treated extremely different. LTL side was gifted with several trips and incentives, while OPS very rarely were acknowledged. *Honestly, it's worth notice twice, the work/life balance was horrendous. They issue a work phone for a reason, they expect you to answer regardless of time of night. *Deceitful to carriers and customers, which I have a hard time with after working elsewhere and seeing how growth can be achieved honestly *As the company grew, it seemed like everything was reinvested into their fancy new location. 50 inch flatscreens everywhere, putting greens, outside firepits, custom pool tables and ping-pong tables. Meanwhile, the ops team that was contributing the largest amount of margins at the time, never saw a commission increase or any recognition for helping it grow to what it is now. *High employment turnover due to the cut-throat nature promoted

Pros

Free lunch Thursday and relaxed dress code

Cons

Poor leadership What roll you have is how much respect you get This roll specific is not great pay for the amount of hrs and work you have to do Pay has consitantly dropped due to losing customers and poor market and the leadership just says it is what it is and give busy work instead of real solutions They do not care to fire or and threaten it constantly due to the amount of time spent at the colleges pulling kids for their first time job Don't feel comfortable bringing up any issues do to this. Overall Axle is basically a pyramid scheme that i can honestly say does not care about their employees

Pros

- Great company culture and the people you work with are great people - Decent pay, especially if you land a whale account like Sika, Dollar General, etc. - Pretty good training - Facility is amazing; putting green, basketball court, food trucks, pool table and ping pong tables, etc. - Fast growing company with promotion opportunities - Base pay and commission

Cons

- So much cold calling, not even qualified leads, expect 30-50 cold calls a day - Working with garbage customers can make your job extremely difficult, especially with certain customers like ice cream where the deliveries occur at 2am - Difficult to work with carriers due to language barriers, lying, negligence, and much more - Overall, the culture and everything revolving around the job itself is great, but the actual job itself is extremely taxing and annoying
