I've been with Baby2Baby for 5 years and have enjoyed my experience getting to work on my development and growth at this organization. The mission drives every aspect of the work and the team creates a really welcoming, collaborative environment. With a wide variety of programs and initiatives, there is always an opportunity to work on new projects which keeps the work interesting and motivating. It is very evident that the organization is important to the community with dedicated volunteers and an incredible staff and has made for a great opportunity to learn about all aspects of a nonprofit.
Cons
As with any growing nonprofit, the hours can be long depending on the time of year, but the supportive team really helps to manage this.

Pros
Great working environment with employees that truly care about the mission and helping others. Events are exciting and it's fun being able to see your hard work in action. The org is constantly growing which opens up opportunities to take on more responsibility, learn from your coworkers, and put your stamp on the organization
Cons
Growing quickly which leads to being understaffed, but this is expected at any NGO
