Communication within the company in recent times has been nonexistent. Employees are underappreciated and undervalued. Initiatives are announced with zero follow up (diversity and inclusion, employee resource groups, mentor programs, training opportunities). The new Purpose and Guiding Principles were rolled out earlier this year, however recent new management brought in are hypocritical of them (keep commitments, protect ourselves and others). Management makes changes before they understand their team needs and daily functions. Clunky technology and constant change makes for an inefficient company. Depending on your department, you either have great flexibility (support departments) or none at all (transportation functions). Company is in a confused stage of growth.

Some of the HR department members are completely incompetent. The company consistently touts how diverse and inclusive they are. However, the board of leadership is eleven white people, one of whom Is a woman. Of all the director levels, only three are women. The company has a disturbing pattern of discriminating against women, ethnic minorities and sexuality. The HR team has no understanding of how to deal with non white, non male, non Christian points of view. It makes for a very hostile work environment. However, if you are a country, white, straight, Christian man who can play the system...then this might be perfect for you.
