Pros
- Bastion are great at hiring people, most are lovely and it's a fun staff environment to be around when not working. - Location of the office is easy to get to and in a vibrant area.
Cons
- You will not have a work life balance and there is such a strong expectation that you work well into the night (Because GAD's/AD's are doing so - Even whilst they receive bonuses and you receive nothing additional). - You are sold the dream and then reality hits in your first week. - Turnover is high, which therefore means you're often receiving another colleague's client and workload on top of your existing work. - Company incentives such as 'happy days' are not so 'happy' and don't even make up for the amount of overtime you work. - Zero HR department which means all HR matters go directly to your management line and CEO. No care for employee mental health. - Little to no onboarding. It's a 'Here is your client, do what you need to do' onboarding approach. - Every staff member is over capacity with their work load, and to capitalize on revenue, Bastion staff are given additional client workloads/scopes instead of hiring more staff.
