Pros

A few wonderful people working there, and Friday arvo drinks

Cons

The separate businesses within the Collective aren't cohesive whatsoever, in fact, they can be quite cliquey and competitive. Work culture is terrible; employees are over-worked and under-compensated unless they're upper management. There is essentially zero HR; staff turnover is high, and redundancies are made left, right and centre without the blink of an eye. Employees are seen as dispensable and employee feedback is taken into zero consideration. An entire business was made redundant in a single day without warning. Another colleague was made redundant through a meeting that was scheduled 1 hour prior with the title *Client* WIP, so she was completely blindsided, her visa was cancelled and she had to leave the country. There are countless stories like this. During my short time there, I must have seen over 60 staff members disappear. I'm now in a new company and cannot express how appreciative I am to be there. I've already been promoted and given a pay rise, and am flourishing in my career. We're paid fairly, receive training and support, have full transparency and clear communication from the wider business, and actually live up to our values.
