Great middle management, fun work environment, amazing clients (dogs), day moves very fast.
Cons
HORRIBLE corporate leadership, lots of outside work in the winter with no compensation (outdoor gear), very physical and manual labor type of work, can be dangerous. The pay is also insultingly low.
A wonderful caring team constantly working to improve. Open to new ideas and always looking to create the best experience for workers, dogs, and customers. Clean, organized facility with great safety practices. And, of course, the dogs! So many great friends to be made on two and four paws.
Cons
Gets very cold in the winter and lots of manual outdoor work is a daily necessity. Evergreen is somewhat remote and can be a tough commute if you don't live nearby. Live animals don't take days off needing care so while sometimes operations will be minimalized there will never be a day when no people have to work. Also, you will need a strong stomach to work with animals.
