Supportive leadership and great benefits, but limited growth options
Pros
This position is a great foot in the door to working in a corporate space. I really appreciated the support I received from the leadership team. If I ever had a question for someone they did a great job at taking time out of their day to help me. The benefits are great and the perks of the job include catering twice a week and a masseuse every other week!
Cons
I didn't want to be tied to this particular role forever and wanted growth, I just wasn't presented with future opportunities. I was given a lot of responsibility and cross-trained for other roles, but wasn't asked directly for my input on the projects I was working on, so I felt like I was being kept at a distance, I just wanted to grow more in my title and compensation. I know other people in this particular role have been promoted within the company so it was disheartening that I wasn't given the same opportunity. I'm still incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work here and with this team, they're pretty amazing.
