Pros

No one else does what we do. When you consider "competition" -- there is NO one. We aren't shopper marketing - far from it! We deliver solutions for our clients that are far beyond the standard "pretty pictures." They actually deliver business success for our clients, retailers and shoppers. The company is full of people who are passionate about their jobs, about the work they deliver and the success we see as a team. Leadership is actively working to improve themselves and the organization. Excellent healthcare benefits, culturally positive, very eager talent. It's a hidden gem in Central New York with national and global clients.

Cons

Beholden to a parent company - which comes with it's benefits sometimes, but also has it's downfalls.

Pros

ChaseDesign is full of highly intellectual, inquisitive people that pour themselves into the work like few other companies I have ever seen. I've always said what is most impressive about working here is that people are living their passions. I'd say the company is in the middle of a cultural renaissance and is working to improve in the areas that employee's have voiced as problem areas. There are nice people with a genuine care for each other. Free coffee, drinks, snacks, happy hours, paired with unbelievable health insurance coverage, competitive salaries and best in class 401k company contribution make this a highly desirable place to work.

Cons

We are a company with a lot of rich history. Some of it not so great when it comes to the management of people. That shows and is something we are actively addressing through a variety of different efforts. Even in the way we approach the work we can be stuck in our ways. We need to be more open/receptive to new ideas and approaches from the new employees that we hire. "It doesn't make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do; we hire smart people so they can tell us what to do." - Steve Jobs Leaders need to show more empathy and address the internal issues vs. being solely focused on the external demands of the clients. Just as there is no business without clients there is no business without people doing the work. The key is balance between internal and external and I'd say we are making progress (slowly).
