Pros

Good Pay. Good tool. lots to learn. Free food and good office setup.

Cons

1. The support team is new and the team management has no idea of creating a good atmosphere for ppl coming in. 2. They panic and put pressure on the team. 3. Just 15 days and you are expected to know in and out of the commvault tool. 4. Team management should understand what is load balance and look into how many hours people are spending on work and breaks. 5. Some people enjoy 3 tea breaks and 2 food breaks that add up the pressure on other engineers. But management never bats an eye on this. 6. Expecting the quantity is fine, but look into the quality as well. Some people create multiple duplicate cases for an existing case and showcase the count for every week. 7. Please review at least 3 cases of every engineer for every week to see what kind of work is being done by your team. Just don't go by count.

Pros

Better work culture. Some team managers are really good and friendly. Some managers understand and allow work from home, leave.

Cons

-Politics favoritism biases. -If you are your manager's fav a fresh joiner can become principle engineer in lesser than 4 year. -Only some managers are good and friendly. -No good hikes. They even give one digit hike percentages and blindly say 'you did good but the company didnt perform well this year. so we can give only so much'. -No employee benefits. I meant NO literally. -US and India employees are not looked like the same. -They announce some policy and they cancel it suddenly without even asking suggestions from the people being affected. -Ex, H1 policy was stopped abruptly. L1 travel was introduced 2 years back, now the policy was closed recently which was abrupt as well, same for B1 travels also. No discussion, no consideration of affected employees. -They take employees very easily.

Thank you for leaving a review. While I am disappointed by your experience, that is not typically what we hear from our engineers. I’d love to take time to speak with you and dive deeper into your concerns and understand your expectations around and a few matters you brought up. To address your comments around merit, please note that all merit is performance based. During the review cycle, every individual will go through an open conversation with their respective Manager. If you still have further concerns after that conversation, you can always escalate to your HRBP for further advice. I am more than happy to chat to you one on one to address any concerns that you have – Joe Sabu –Head of Research and Development - India

Pros

Flexible working hours , Pay on par with Industry . Efforts underway to turn things around and survive , expanding offerings and growing presence in India .

Cons

Majority leadership team in India is Ex-Dell and seems to be forming a close inner circle of their own . No consistency in elevation and promotions , have seen Directors and their reports ( Both Ex Dell again!) elevated to Senior roles within a year and others slogging for years within not even consideration. There are some really questionable moves of elevating average performers from Manager to Director within a year . This co in Bangalore is classic case of blunders after good start , if you believe hard work pays - this is Not the org you should join.
