Pros

• It's a lean company, so you will likely collaborate with coworkers in many different roles and learn a ton about B2B digital marketing • You gain a lot of knowledge about interesting clients and how their business and industry works • There are tremendous professional growth opportunities, no matter which position you're hired for • Empathy, inclusion, and fairness are pillar values from the top down • Managers truly care and work diligently to support their teams and keep clients happy • The company is very serious about upholding its integrity, being accountable, and delivering results for clients

Cons

• An agency this size is not suitable for people who aren't self-starters, don't learn on their own time, or require regimented work schedules • People who struggle with anxiety may find it challenging to succeed in a fast-paced agency that's expected to meet deadlines • It can be difficult not to take it personally when clients reject your work or don't agree with your point of view

Pros

Significant professional growth and career opportunities Great team that supports each other to get the job done Small enough team that each member has the chance to make real contributions Candid discussions, like a family, to get best results for our clients and the team Great work/life balance while staying committed to delivering on time for our clients Diverse set of clients Prospects and clients highly respect and admire our work and reputation in the industry

Cons

No standardized career paths, so each person in effect creates their own Not much formal training, so you learn on the job and rely on other team members No formal HR department (growing pains with a smaller agency) Fast paced agency atmosphere isn’t for everyone

Pros

I've been working as a web developer at DBS Interactive for six years, and overall, it has been a very rewarding experience. The team is incredibly close-knit, which makes collaboration seamless and enjoyable. Everyone supports each other, and there's a real sense of camaraderie that you don't find in every workplace. The main benefit of agency work is the variety of projects we get to work on. From small businesses to larger corporate clients, the range of challenges keeps things interesting and helps build a diverse skill set. It's a great place to grow as a developer.

Cons

The work environment can be fast-paced with the occasional quick turnaround or a deep-dive into unknown technologies, so flexibility and adaptability are key.
