Pros

Monthly Birthday cakes/lunches, summer team run, TV in kitchen, good sized kitchen, Asian New Year money gifts and gambling games (management gives each employee $$$ by most of company owners to “gamble” with during company Asian year celebration which is nice), Christmas Holiday party (food is good and door prizes.)

Cons

Management chaos, management indecision, management infighting, high turnover throughout company, non-existent business procedure/process manuals, poor to non-existent communication by management, very poor business prospects, high stress work environment, very top heavy with friends in HQ top management circle,, management constantly micromanaging people. Very little to non-existent promotional opportunities within. There may be appearances of conflict of interest internally due to fact that some of DVS partners also own their own consulting firms that are at times subcontractors to DVS which makes it difficult for them to make best decision for the main company.

Joke of a company

Pros

nothing, they even mess up basic payroll.

Cons

Everything. They win a massive new contract to support the gov. turn and lower pay for most positions, remove entire teams... completely gut other teams then turn and ask the government for more resources... they say they have annual raises but never received one this whole year working with them. Couldn't even keep their contract for a full year. Not to often a contract is awarded to a company and the project shrinks/workers pay are lowered...

Pros

It doesn’t matter if you don’t get along with anyone from Directviz because the only contact you will have is a single 15 minute zoom call to let you know they lost the contract two months after you’re told by your gov pm.

Cons

Others have laid it out better and in more detail so I highly suggest you read those. I will add that they knew they had lost the contract I was hired to before they hired me and never told me/straight up lied when I asked the length of the contract. No severance or anything of the sort. No attempt was made to do right by their employees: didn’t even attempt to help find alternate employment, write letters of rec, or anything that a good company should do. I did ask for these, and didn’t even get a response. Wasn’t even worth a quick email response. Despite screwing us over, Fifteen minute zoom call was the only interaction we had with the directviz pm/boss in 6 months. Luckily, I didn’t end up needing any of that and was happy to get as far away from directviz as possible. I do not know how directviz continues to win government contracts. If you look at their us spending page, they never more than a few years on a contract. My recommendation to the gov is save yourself the time, and don’t award them in the first place. Terrible, terrible company, that doesn’t care about the quality of work delivered to the client once they win it. Tldr: a manifestation of all the worst parts of government contractors. If you value yourself, do yourself a favor and stay away.
