      Pros

      Doing the work itself is great. Love policing and love mentoring young police officers.

      Cons

      Top leadership is poor, autocratic and non-caring. A change is needed.

      Pros

      They have good benefits, some police officers are nice and some just loves to yell.

      Cons

      Too many politics! The supervisors change every 2 years. The other admin I was working was very manipulative. Supervisors don't know how to manage civilians. They only care about results. They also prioritize the police officers even though some police officers harrass civilians.

      Good pay, benefits, and co-workers.

      Cons

      High stress, workload, accountability and discipline fatigue. Executive management is completely out of touch with the operational cops and panders to progressive, identity politics. Prepare to have your values slowly eroded by risk adverse careerists in executive management while you accumulate several lifetimes worth of traumatic experiences that leave you with PTSD.
