Joining this company is like joining a cult. Anyone who’s ever worked at other companies will be shocked and confused with how this org operates. They’re big on “rituals” and “ceremonies” but not so much on performance and results. Talented C-levels and VPs are constantly coming and going but those more focused on playing the game continue to linger. Departments are set up in bizarre ways, like having part of product report to the CISO and the other part to the CTO. The “North Star” changes every couple months. This isn’t like normal growing pains for a tech company but rather dysfunction wrapped in incompetence with a large dash of weirdness.
