The fundamental issue with how the sales teams are managed is the priority of short term ARRi "wins" over client experience and product fit. The hyper aggressive sales tactics are not aligned with the brand image 1Password should have, nor is it aligned with the ICPs we are targetting. Managers are talented and work very hard to help their team hit unrealistic quotas, but are not equipped to actually train and develop their reps to thrive. 1Password as a password manager is a strong product but the company is focused on growth for the sake of growth and the employees have paid for it through unrealistic quotas, shrinking books and over hiring which has lead to layoffs.
