Pros
I was with 84 Lumber for just over 5 years. I started in the Install program and then very quickly promoted up to my final position of Co-Manager. Overall it is a very solid company to work for for these reasons. -Career opportunity is limitless -Training program is second to none -Upper management/owner legitimately care about employees -Industry leader / working for them earns you a little respect moving forward (if nothing else it looks great on a resume)
Cons
There are a few. - Work/life balance is non-existent - Very long hours - Working in unheated/air conditioned tin boxes essentially - Outdated company infrastructure - You can never produce enough results for them - The only way to increase pay is to move or "sell more" - Sometimes it can be a popularity contest
