      Pros

      This is a really good company to grow with if you have the time to clean toilets. Scrub the base boards, basically be the jantors for people that mess and soil the bathroom on a daily bases. I am on the verge of getting my MBA I will not clean bathrooms and be insulted while I am doing it! Very disrespectful management.

      Cons

      At the location that I worked at management was very biased and has pre-set notions about how Afircan American people behave and act. My manager was very stereotypical and ignorant. I can not deal with a person that will state out loud that and I quote " all black people steal, you just have not been caught as of yet! Wow really!

      A Management position with 84 Lumber is essentially having the opportunity to run your own store. As any business owner, you have to run all aspects of the business!       Pros

      Excellent management, people take an active interest in your long term development in house.

      Cons

      Inflexible corporate expectations, reform and proposals don't appear to travel far past people you can see.

      Pros

      Good benefits, pay is decent. If you work from home FT as a Manager , you can also run your own business while on the clock get paid for it. Who wouldn't want to work there.

      Cons

      You can work your butt off, put in more hours than you should and get no respect in return.
