Pros
You get decent, not great benefits. You get some training. You get ADT's name recognition and a mostly great installation department. Product selection is pretty good. You can make pretty good money and if your in the top 10% of the company, great money. But that's anywhere. You get company leads if you have the right amount of self generated leads and closing percentage. You better be a go go go getter. The other employees are great to work with. Not a shark tank. Lower management can be good.
Cons
The outside sales force is the most micro managed organization that I or any other salesperson who has worked there, has been involved with. This comes down from the upper management. The focus is still on getting new customers, not on valuing or keeping the ones they have. Expect to work 10+ hours per day and at least 2 Saturdays a month. The first 6 months tend to be a serious struggle. The corporation has an attitude that you should feel lucky to work there and if you don't like the way they do things then you should go somewhere else. And you should. Employees are not valued there.
