Pros

The company has great benefits for its full-time employees. You have the potential to make a nice amount of money in commission with the right skills. Most of the staff is extremely supportive and willing to help. Their attendance policy gives you a lot of wiggle room for unexpected circumstances.

Cons

The payout for commission and what goes into that can and will change; more often than not it’s not going to work in your favor. The training is nowhere near as long as it needs to be and the questions you ask can have different responses depending on who you’re speaking to. Other departments mistakes and intentional mismanagement will cause a direct hit to your pay and you will basically be told it comes with the job while the people responsible face little to no consequences for their actions. The base pay is not sufficient considering how unpredictable sales can be. The money will be put before the employees always no matter how negatively the changes they make will affect us as a whole.

Pros

I've worked for the company for 40+ years, I'm treated with respect and my efforts are recognized by my Director and other ADT leaders. They give me the autonomy to manage my department and value my experience and insight. They offer a solid benefits package. ADT leads by example with their cultural markers and ensures that rules and laws are followed. I love the collaboration I have with our other departments.

Cons

Obviously, we all want more money, especially given the prices of everything, it's always nice to make more money, but I've checked the compensation and benefits in similar positions outside of ADT and I feel ADT is paying a fair wage and when I factor in the benefits package, they are above average in overall compensation.
