Pros
They care about their employees and customers. I work with talented, collaborative professionals who make each day a pleasure and help me develop professionally. My department is very flexible with work-home balance, as long as the job gets done well. Some of the leaders I've worked with have been the best I have ever worked with.
Cons
Some senior leadership in my greater department have made a string of uninformed, counter-productive decisions that negatively affect everyone in the department. American Express is constantly restructuring to stay competitive. This means regular layoffs.
