Pros
The people in AMS are amazing, I come to work every day knowing I'm surrounded by passionate and motivated specialists, it always drives me to do my best work. We talk a lot about values in AMS and I really believe that we live them, I feel I can be myself in AMS and I know I wouldn't necessarily achieve that elsewhere. AMS is growing fast so there are great opportunities for development if you put yourself forward; if you sit back and wait for the opportunities to come to you then you will likely miss out. And as we grow there are great opportunities to develop your career with AMS in different sectors or different service lines. We have an incredible client base so I'm surrounded by inspiring colleagues and inspiring clients.
Cons
We have had some growing pains over the years as we have scaled our internal functions to meet the needs of the business. And as we have grown we have expanded across the world which presents both opportunities and challenges - we have had to focus hard on helping our remote team members feel integrated with the wider business and ensure that they have the same access to our central support and learning programs. I think we have achieved all of that now - just need to keep focused as we continue to grow.
