Pros

So there are a bunch of Pros at ARCOS. To be honest, making a list would be a little contrived so I will say this. I have worked here for almost four years and every day is a good day. When I made mistakes my managers helped me grow to overcome them. When I have successful moments everyone is there to celebrate them. This is a company that encourages growth and development.

Cons

Generally, there are the usual ones. Having to show up and work. Other than that the product itself can be challenging to master due to all the variations.

Thank you for the great feedback on working at ARCOS. We do understand the product can be challenging to learn due to the large nature of the product. I hope you feel supported in your learning. It is one of the goals at ARCOS to develop our internal talent and install more front line management. If you don't feel you are getting this, please let us know... our people are everything!

Pros

Remote work setup and contractor pay were competitive for the market. The work itself had potential to be interesting and challenging if the environment had been more supportive.

Cons

My experience was defined by a very unsupportive manager. As a new contractor, I received minimal onboarding and was expected to “hit the ground running” on complex tasks with almost no guidance. Requests for clarification were met with comments about not needing to “spoonfeed” me rather than actual support. Feedback was often vague and harsh instead of specific and constructive. I was told that I wasn’t thinking “critically” enough, but expectations for what “good” work looked like were never clearly laid out. There appeared to be a pattern of high turnover under this supervisor. In my short time there, it was clear that multiple people had cycled through the same role, which says a lot about the culture and leadership in that area. My contract was ended with language essentially saying I was unable to perform the job, despite my making good‑faith efforts, asking questions, and trying to understand their processes. There was no real opportunity for coaching or improvement—just abrupt termination.
