Pros

The position is work from home

Cons

Where do I start The lies if you like to tell lies to people this is the place for you they lie to the clients and the employees and you cannot be honest with the people that you are supposed to be helping they prey on the fact a lot of people don’t really understand credit and money and finances which explains the leads they provide they target a certain demographic type of consumer-predators Management can never give you a direct answer which is reflective of how they want you to communicate with the clients The leads are horrible they lie and say they are distributed evenly and fairly but they are not and if you can see and have common sense you will pick up on this quickly I have seen management try to call people out in the slack channel for asking questions just answer the question don’t try to make the person feel bad for asking They quality of leads is horrible they weren’t this bad when I started you may sit at your desk for 2 hours waiting for a lead meanwhile the other person may have taken multiple leads in that time frame I also noticed that that management will try to flip things on their employees when management’s implemented changes don’t work it becomes a what are not doing issue Favoritism This is just not a good place if you value your sanity and you don’t like getting played

Pros

- The people are generally very kind and collaborative broadly. - I believe the company is genuine in its mission to only earn profits by helping everyday Americans move forward on the path to a better financial future. - The company at large and some of its leaders aren't afraid to try things and then pivot if they don't work to try something else, instead of doubling down over pride or ego or stubbornness.

Cons

- There's a lack of clear and strategic leadership that leaves job ambiguity, which places the employee at a disadvantage with performance measurement, which is how they award quarterly bonuses. Without clear SMART goals, it becomes a game of bring me a rock, but not that rock. - Towards the end, they were implementing a start-up entrepreneurial mindset style that was leaning away from valuing work/life balance and getting more demanding and desperate in attempts to meet metrics.
