Pros

A great chance to build skills, experiences and take on big responsibilities. Amazing to work on humanitarian crises and respond to emergencies occurring worldwide, and support fundraising events while developing workplace skills.

Cons

Outdated fundraising model and increasing turnover in staff within that Department. Hopeless leadership at a senior level which leads to colleagues being overworked, worn to the bone and having their mental health affected by poor strategic decision making.

Pros

- Do good humanitarian work overseas - General staff in the offices are very friendly, approachable, and lovely to work with. - Benefits were decent (good US health insurance, generous PTO (18 days a year to start and four summer Fridays)). Retirement doesn't vest for three years.

Cons

- Leadership was not communicative and lacked empathy when laying off a large proportion of the company including not following their own HR policies. -Salaries were below what similar NGOs paid.
