Pros
Everyone is set on the same kind of "winning" mindset, which is the sales mindset of "go, go, go," It is very fun to be surrounded by like-minded individuals. It's the sales rush, which is not for everyone. Highs are highs, lows are low. Happy hours, celebrations, birthdays, etc., are all celebrated. If you like to work, stay to yourself, and aren't one for the company "politics" stay far away from this company! They love the kool aid here. Good place for YOUNG and I mean fresh out of college kids to work here, soak in all that they can, and then get out as soon as possible or you will be stuck in a cycle that most AMs are in, even recruiters. They cannot leave to go anywhere else with the skills obtained, because they are not "niched" within a singular field, and be making the same amount of money.
Cons
Most people in the recruiting chair are young, do not have kids or a family yet. That is because of the high demand, high stressful expectations of the position. The compensation for the work is terrible, there is zero privacy in the office set-up, "open" office, They will put people on the spot, They do not care how long you have given the company, if you are in that recruiter chair and are not a "high" performer you will be toast. You will be micromanaged down to the minute, literally, they can see it and they will. This position is soley metric based. High turnover rate. The people in leadership are a laughing stock, This is an Aerotek issue though, not just Charlotte.
