Pros
1. We have a La Marzocco coffee machine (cafe's use this machine) in the kitchen with fresh coffee beans from Patricia everyday - I don't buy coffee's anymore and i'm a coffee snob! 2. Because we're a startup and we're still relatively small, there is so much opportunity for each individual to shape and define the way teams and the company as a whole operates - whether it be establishing processes or just identifying better ways of doing things, everyone is so open-minded if it is for the betterment of the company! 3. So many interesting challenges - as we're rapidly expanding around the world, each country has different design requirements. We are constantly engaging with our overseas teams and customers to ensure we capturing the unique requirements in their local geographies. 4. Complete autonomy - all of us are empowered to take our work in the direction we see fit as long as we bring the business with us on the journey. 5. There's no process for the sake of process - large organisations have too much legacy process and documentation that take precious time away from you actually doing work of value. At Airwallex, we document only if we need to and only as much as is required, allowing us to spend nearly all of our days doing the fun stuff like customer research, rapid prototyping, usability testing, problem solving, etc.
Cons
We're growing too quickly and need more people in our design team!! Honestly, i don't have anything negative to say about my experience so far!
