Pros

Good initial salary package for freshers compared to other exchange houses in the UAE. Company has a good reputation in the UAE which helps the employees while switching their jobs in the financial services industry. Salaries are well paid on time without any default.

Cons

HR policies are very bad. Labour contract comes with a 3 months notice period which restricts the employees to switch their jobs. Counter staff jobs are not attractive in terms of its career advancement unless you get promoted inside the organization. You wont expect to get proper holidays if you plan to work as a counter staff. Hectic and painful process if you request for passport release for emergency issues. If you get another job offer and you resign, HR department would create maximum trouble for you. It depends upon their mood wheather to charge the employees for the deducted notice period. At times they might charge 4000 dirhams towards the training fees if you dont complete 4 years in the company.

Pros

Salary day don’t get delay. (BUT STILL, THEY WILL MAKE YOU FEEL ITS LIKE A YOU KNOW THAT KIND OF THING. ONCE YOU RECEIVED IT, GOTTA STRIVE AGAIN AND WAIT FOR IT TO TASTE IT)

Cons

-As a headline says. Value your health coz they don’t give our so called work-life balance. -You gotta work 2weeks straight with just one day off. (Lucky you if you have a sched of morning-off-evening. Worst case scenario, you’re gonna work evening-off-midshift —worst sched ever! Gotta work more than 8hrs) -Toxic area managers and branch managers. But, there are some good managers too. Lucky you if you got one. If not, you have to suffer for 2yrs (thats the visa timeframe) -If the branch manager or area manager doesnt like you, they will transfer you to the other branch. Which is the farthest branch from you. (BETTER NOT TO TELL WHERE YOU LIVE THOUGH) -Annual vacation, as per seniority. (I mean, ok thats reasonable) -and lastly, GETTING SICK IS A SIN. Not feeling well? NO NO NO!! you gotta work. One day sick leave would need a sick note even the employee handbook doesn’t say so they don’t care. Even if its one day YOU GOTTA GIVE A SICK NOTE!!!
