Pros

I have been working for Alkali almost 2 years now and have to admit I really do have a good time at my job. The job and positions are busy and challenging (in all areas) and before you know it your day is complete. I have had some great experiences and developed some friendships interacting with our clients and have realized I do not do this for me, I do it for them. I have never been much of a Glassdoor "surfer" and have seen some of the former posts. I do feel if you accept a position with any company you should go in everyday ready to contribute and be the best you can be. If you are uncertain or at a loss you should feel comfortable to approach a team leader or the owners Steven and Corey. I have never felt a burden or an interruption in doing so. This is a great place to work and all of the team members support each other.

Cons

I really cannot think of any cons since my hire. I guess, and I say this with a smile, there could be a few more minutes in the day. Some days.

Pros

There were 2 nice coworkers. The owners can be fair, but when it's convenient for them. I have to type this extra sentence to submit.

Cons

Absolutely the highest turnover rate I've ever witnessed and apparently still is. Work/life balance is not great at all. Definitely overworked and underpaid. Under appreciated too. They reward people's hard work with $10 gift cards or some kind of food item or activity which really doesn't do anything for anyone. The majority of the employees (the ones that don't get fired) are very clique like, and make newcomers feel awkward right off the bat. A mother and daughter work together and are in their own office together. Everyone else is in a cubicle. That situation is just weird and questionable. You get treated great if you know someone already that works there. Commission agreement and raises are pretty bad as well, the lowest I've experienced. I'm really not tying to dog anyone out, just sharing my experience.

This person was only employed with us for 30 days and was frequently late to work. He did not witness any turnover other than himself as no one else has left the company this year. It was clear quickly that we were not a right fit for one another which is why the short employment stent ended. We are sorry that it wasn't a better match and we wish him the very best.
