Pros

Good compensation if you hit targets, HR department is helpful and that’s about it.

Cons

The way this job is advertised is very different from reality. You work at a call center and sell calls, you are not really a client associate. This is a sales job and it is one of the worst “industries” to do sales because clients will often treat you like their slave. The culture is extremely toxic, so much micromanagement, many people barely eat lunch off the desk and you are expected to be available to answer at any point during the day. It’s one thing working hard and long hours if you work at an investment bank or one of the big four and it’s another thing to lose your sleep for a company like Alphasights. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone other than people who want to go into sales and want to work 12 hours a day and have 0 work life balance. Management is very toxic and that transfers down to the whole team. Everything is measured in metrics and numbers including your performance and if you don’t meet those they will make your life hell and you will not get promoted. People will often talk behind your back and will be rude and disrespectful.

Pros

AlphaSights has an incredible culture and a highly supportive environment. I recently celebrated four years with the firm, and I've truly enjoyed the combination of high support and high performance. I have a great deal of autonomy in my role, work alongside an exceptional team, and continue to learn and grow every day. I'm so grateful that I started my career at AlphaSights.

Cons

I've truly enjoyed my time. N/a

Pros

Rapid Progression & Recognition: Performance is directly rewarded here. If you hit your goals and show drive, the path to promotion and career growth is transparent and fast. Strong Team Culture: The team energy is fantastic. Everyone is highly collaborative, supportive, and commercially minded, which makes for a great working environment. High Autonomy: From day one, you are given real ownership over your projects (like leading recruitment events, managing candidates, and driving partnerships), allowing you to grow your commercial skills rapidly.

Cons

High Velocity & Pressure: The work is very fast-paced with strict timelines and high-volume expectations. It is not a place where you can coast, and you need to be comfortable working under commercial pressure. Resilience is Key: Sourcing and recruiting require a great deal of resilience. You have to be comfortable with rejection and persistent in finding creative solutions to hit your targets.
