Pros
No workplace politics and the pay is not bad. It at least keeps up with cost of living somewhat and there are pay incentives certain times. You are provided lots of PPE and even a free pair of steel-toed shoes a year, which is nice. Dropping and picking up shifts is also very seamless and convenient. If you want the ability to create your own schedule this is not so bad. However, work conditions vary from each location so take this with a grain of salt.
Cons
Body degradation. Work is very physical and you are expected to move at a certain pace. There is a bit of competitiveness via some sort of 'scoreboard' which rates you in comparison to other team members. However, the reward for being at the top is just more work.
