The importance of leaving not only a review that I hope helps others, but an honest one that expands on my experience and I know the experience of others that are “scared” to speak up.
The Technical Onboarding department was probably the most toxic, misled, and truly worst part of the company. As an employee that attempted to see the potential in what I thought were company values, turned out to be a huge mistake on my behalf. Yearly, I witnessed people that had given their all to the work, including training and carrying the workload of higher-ups, only to be dismissed as if they were nothing. I watched other departments speak to and talk to employees within Technical Onboarding on a regular basis, in a condescending manner and upper management sit back and do nothing about it. I saw contractors be promised that if they are “good little boys and girls”, they’ll find job security thereafter, only to be released after contributing such hard work. This place has no humility nor decency and ONLY takes care of their people. I commend people that I saw leaving because I knew they had reached a breaking point, and made a very smart move. In my time at Amplify, I saw some of the most highest levels within a company structure fired. Some, promoted and then abruptly fired. It was heartbreaking and even more difficult when you saw how easy it was for people to do these things, and then laugh and smile in a team meeting and talk about hats and tacos after shattering people’s personal lives minutes before.
