Pros
Strong career paths that push you out of your comfort zone. Amazing visibility to senior management if you want it. Able to come in, learn quickly, make an impact, and move up. Incredible people work here.
Cons
Burn-Out culture - most people I know are unhappy. Work/life balance is not a reality for anyone in the organization. Must buy-in to the company 100% - I know many people forced into situations where they make huge personal sacrifices and aren't given much of a choice to take the opportunity or not. Technology capabilities are way behind where they should be for a large corporation. Short Term gains are prioritized over long term solutions. This is usually a direct result of a game of "self" where people want to look good. Culture is evolving to be less team-oriented and more me-oriented. Bonuses rarely happen in the US business unit. And when they do, personal targets are stretched so much that the amount is often way lower than expected.
