Pros
I'm a fan of the casual work environment. The people are awesome, and there are tons of recognition and career advancement opportunities. If you work hard, and if you are business savvy and have initiative, you can get ahead. I've seen lots of promotions over the years. The other thing that I like is that although we are not the small family we once were, that family feel still exists. Management is flexible when it can be. Benefits are good, especially like the "surprise" holidays like the birthday holiday this year, and the extra Thanksgiving holiday for the last couple of years. And I like the new service anniversary program where you get TIME OFF instead of having to pick a cheap gift out of a crappy catalog. Lots of good things happening. it's nice to work for an industry leader.
Cons
Starting pay is low in some areas. The sales group is just a mess. And there are some really annoying procedural things...let's not have paperwork and process for the sake of paperwork and process. Let's ask WHY we actually do things, how they benefit us. I have seen ZERO interest in any kind of process improvement initiatives.
