Pros
Benefits are decent but the pay is so low for the cost of living in the surrounding Phoenix, AZ area. A great launch pad for your future. Use this institution for connections and better opportunities.
Cons
Strict and rigid regulations regarding work flexibility. Some department or sub-units offer partial or complete remote opportunities and others don’t when they absolutely could as much of the work is online. You have to pay for a parking pass even though you work there, about $1000, a year which can be paid in full or automatically taken out of your paycheck. Touted as innovative, and progression forward, but they do NOT promote with as often as they could/should. There are often blatant attempts to hire from outside the chain rather than promoting people, which would give people better pay opportunities.
