Overall love working for Athleta, proud to say I work here, and enjoy working for a brand and company with a greater purpose. Gap Inc provides good benefits to workers, and Managers always have full time hours and quarterly incentive bonuses if goals are met. The environment is open, welcoming, and very progressive, and they really listen to employees and customers' feedback about how they are doing and what they can do to improve.
Cons
The workload for store management during these times is higher than ever, upper management's response is often to simply apply unnecessary pressure to perform and exceed goals while limiting resources to meet goals and complete projects on-time. Payroll is always cut razor-thin, and productivity goals reach sky-high week over week- positive encouragement tends to be thin-veiled at times and it feels more and more like they are not willing to increase pay to invest in their workers, using store performance or intangible qualities of store leaders as an excuse to not provide raises.
