Not Bad for Part Time - Sales Associate Athleta Employee Review

Not a lot of room to grow. I was working as a part time associate for about a year when we had vacancies in our management team, and they asked me to be the interim manager. I went from part time hours (25-30 a week) to full time hours and full management responsibilities (opening and closing the store, etc.) with little financial compensation. I was offered an extra $250 monthly as my incentive, but it wasn't sufficient to the work I was doing. It was only supposed to be 1-2 months I was doing this, yet it was closer to 4-6 months since it took them longer to fill the role. While the role was open, the district manager did not offer me the role itself, or even encourage me to apply for the role to be considered alongside the other candidates. It was frustrating for me when the role did get filled, because I had a hand in training the new manager for a job I could do myself.
