Leadership and Senior Management are making very questionable decisions right now with Audible. The back office team and systems are way far behind for the amount of revenue Audible brings in and the new partnerships they sign off on. Enhancements to the systems do not align to Audible's people principles whatsoever. The work that is being done here (at least for my department) is very half-baked and rushed and affects everyone involved in a negative way. Speaking up and sharing feedback is not encouraged in meetings. Your opinions and thoughts only go as far as your title will let you. You can go ahead and open your mouth on what's wrong, but you'll get a shoulder shrug back. Senior Management does whatever it takes to have the absolute minimum workload on their plate and delegates a lot of projects that require leadership to ICs that are swamped with work. This causes a lot of delays and meeting churn. There is a also a general acceptance at Audible that you can be IM'd and emailed at any point during late evenings or weekends and expect you to respond or log on without overtime pay.
