Pros

* You can login late by 11 or 12. Most people work in UK shifts * Frequent vacations * decent hikes

Cons

* No Value add to the career path * Outdated policies and process are followed which kills time * Systems function in a complex manner and things are unnecessarily complicated. End of the day you spend more time solving BT's issues than real technical problems. * Not a good place to work for and when things fail you are blamed for many things that you are not responsible for. * Lot of work politics and drama. * Attrition rate is as high as 45% * Management is least bothered about real employees issues and don't try to simply the way systems are built, but they paint a rosy picture and stab you at the back. Typical British mentality still prevails in the company culture. * They still ask people to sign the attendance register , image how outdated their systems must be and what a waste of paper. They claim to be pioneers in telecom but can't manage a simple swipe in and swipe out electronically. What an irony :)

Pros

Benefits are better than most US companies. You get twice or triple the numbers of days off per year.

Cons

Focus is more on originating company location for group events and emails. Due to time zone differences, it can be difficult to work with others without adjusting your schedule. It is difficult to get promoted outside originating country. Roles are few and far between in the US.
