Pros
I wake up every day with a purpose now. Internal Relations: This job is extremely fulfilling as long as you keep your mentality and efforts focused on the company's mission: To change lives through clothing. (From experience) I truly believe that good-fitting professional & dapper clothing really does change your life. You receive compliments like never before.. compliments creates confidence.. confidence attracts success.. being successful becomes is contagious! I can go on & on. The leadership and seasoned peers genuinely want you to be successful. I've already begun to aid newer hires and I don't even think twice about taking the time to do so. If it wasn't for scheduled appointments, I would never keep track of time at all because I live for this now. This company has actually picked me up when I was down instead of walk all over me (like the rest of corporate America). I'm sure you can relate with all of your previous sales roles: You start to sell early on, get the attention of higher ups.. and the seasoned reps begin to go out of their way to get IN your way to prevent your success in order to maintain their job security. It's definitely not like that here. I can honestly say that this company sees and appreciates integrity & hard work because that's exactly what they deliver as management. They don't tell you what to do without leading by example and I haven't seen that in a long time. Client Relations: The best part about working here is when your clients first try on their FIRST custom outfit and you see the faces they make with a subtle shock factor to it. It's almost as if they're looking at themselves for the first time and just made a great first impression... PRICELESS! The next best part about working here is when you've built a relationship with clients and become their exclusive style consultant. When you played a small role in their wedding by helping design the most important outfit they've ever one and that they'll never forget. When they thank you and send you their wedding photos with such gratitude. When your clients land a big account, get that big job or get that big promotion and they credit you for changing the way they're perceived with such respect in their professional realms. This company changed my life!
Cons
These aren't really cons - they're just cons for those who can't handle them. -I would say that one is towards a specific type of person. If you're all about flash and hype to get the big sale... but have no effort towards follow-up, you won't make it. -We're a true team where everyone plays their part. So the truth always comes out eventually. So if you're greedy and if you're fake... you won't make it. -If you always rely on leads (and someone else's).. you'll do well at first but eventually you won't make it.
