      Pros

      A very good working environment, collegial team members and a relatively modest London footprint. People really are proud to work at Barings and take their work seriously.

      Cons

      There is a strong split between the large regional offices (London, Hong Kong etc) and the decision making base in Charlotte, North Carolina and this tension can mean that the regional offices are relatively powerless. Also, there is a great deal of change going on in the Technology division at the moment and that makes a lot of that business unit very defensive and insecure in their roles.

      Pros

      Work environment is pretty relaxed - as long as you get your work done, people don't really bother you. The sales team is very supportive. Considering the majority of the company resides in the UK, it is pretty easy to get in touch with them and they are very responsive.

      Cons

      Upper management very clearly isn't interested in non-managerial employees; couldn't care less if they are happy or satisfied.
