Pros

Pay is decent to get by. Nothing else.

Cons

Everything. Horrible leadership and lack of accountability. Changes Idea everyday and expects results when product doesn’t exist. They say “fast paced” but nothing is fast paced when you have no product to sell. Only thing fast paced is ceo and leadership changing ideas every other day. I never heard about them being fast paced while being there until reading these reviews. They only say fast pace because they don’t have a clear agenda or plan. Everyone just tries to please the CEO and does whatever he says. If he said to jump they ask how high. No one has a backbone to stand up and take accountability for team not being successful. Instead blames bottom of the barrel. Set up for failure right when you get there. Do not believe the fluff lies they are telling. Also, joined the team to develop my skills as a AE and sell but ended up being a guinea pig SDR. Its not high performance when we are given 0 quota or attainment. I bet you they will respond with a chat gpt review if I get one.

Pros

When I first interviewed, I was actually fairly worried because of the Glassdoor reviews I had read. I took a chance on the company and have been overwhelmingly surprised… In the best way. Most companies that I work for try to change me as a sales person and make me how they want me to sell. Behavox has allowed me to sell the way I know best and has enabled me to become a better sales person and person as a whole. The organization has leaders that lead from the front. There is also lots of room for growth and even a new program to enable that growth. Behavox has an incredible culture, and not just in word. I have worked for five or six tech companies now, and this one is honestly the best I have ever been a part of.

Cons

There was a difficult work to life balance when I first started, but when I brought it up to my manager, he assisted me in managing it and managing my tasks better. As with any company in a hyper growth stage, there were some struggles around enablement when I first started. They did, however, listen to feedback and make the appropriate hires to enable more properly.

Pros

Good compensation package - great benefit.

Cons

The whole company is really unorganized; they do not set clear expectations, and there is no clear roadmap to reach the established goals—if the goals are even communicated. At no point, they showed a commitment to the success of their team. The outbound strategy changes every three weeks, and management shows favoritism when it comes to trade shows. For their new product, there was never any market fit research done. Except for the CEO, the rest of upper management is just patting each other on the back and overhyping the little progress they accomplish.

Behavox Response

Thank you for sharing your perspective and for recognising the strength of our compensation and benefits. Behavox operates in a fast-moving environment, which requires us to stay nimble, avoid being wedded to a single strategy, and course-correct based on real signals in order to maximise the probability of success. This approach is very intentional and should not be confused with an absence of organisation. We believe our historical growth rate demonstrates that this strategy continues to serve the business well. We acknowledge that this pace of work is not suitable for everyone. However, for those who are comfortable with change, they will find an environment that is conducive to growth. With regard to favouring initiatives, there is a clear preference for those that have a proven track record of delivering a strong return on investment. In the context of trade events, it is logical to continue doubling down on those that have demonstrated success in generating new business. Finally, Behavox’s leadership team is strongly aligned behind the strategy set by our CEO. That alignment is built through rigorous debate, conviction, and accountability, not passive consensus. We appreciate feedback like this as we continue refining how we communicate priorities in a high-performance setting.
