Pros

The team members were awesome! Once we got HR they really put the effort into event and team building.

Cons

False promises all around. They are misleading on what your job is going to be like. You end up doing ten times the work that was never part of your job description. CEO comes off as a nice person but is misogynistic, male management and VP staff follow suit.

We'd like to thank you for your review. It's through present and past employees' suggestions that help make Bio-Optronics continue to grow in many areas. Please know that each and every employee is hired under a specific job description that outlines their basic responsibilities. Most roles will, from time to time, incorporate other aspects of the organization where we feel employees are able to add to their roles in order to assist them in their professional growth. This year, 2020, we saw added responsibilities to all of our positions - we've had to do more with less and everyone is appreciated for stepping up to the plate to help the overall company continue to move forward in such a challenging year. Regarding our pay, we benchmark salaries with numerous criteria such as location, job role, years of experience, our company size, our revenue, etc. This allows us to establish salary bands for each role in the organization. Where someone falls within those roles is based on their experience, their skill set, as well as other factors. Currently, our philosophy is to target the 50th percentile for most roles. Again, your comments are welcome and I appreciate your being candid.
